Album of the Year Winner Taylor SwiftOS ANGELES (January 31, 2010)- Grammy went Gaga for the Ladies last night!

Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga owned the night winning a combined dozen Grammys.
·         Swift won four Grammys, including top honors for Album of the Year (“Fearless”).
·          Beyoncé took home six Grammys, including one for Song of the Year (“Single Ladies [Put a Ring on It]”).
·          Lady Gaga won just two Grammys, but enjoyed the night’s signature moment when she shared a breathtaking debut with Elton John. In the duet, the two blended her song "Speechless" with his classic "Your Song."
The biggest surprise of the night came when the Kings of Leon beat out Beyoncé and Swift to take Record of the Year, one of three Grammys picked up by the group.
"I'm not going to lie, we're all a little drunk. But we're happy drunks," said lead singer Caleb Followill as he accepted the award for Record of the Year.
Swift was a bit more sober as she accepted the Album of the Year. “Fearless”was the biggest selling album of any genre in the past 12 months.
"Oh wow — thank you so much! I just hope that you know how much this means to me.... that we get to take this back to Nashville," she said. “Oh my God, our families are freaking out in their living rooms. My dad and my little brother are losing their minds in the living room right now."
Beyoncé became the first artist in history to receive at least five Grammys in two different years. Her debut Album “Dangerously in Love” won five Grammys in 2004.
"This has been such an amazing night for me and I'd love to thank the Grammys," Beyoncé said after winning best female pop vocal for "Halo."
Other big winners included:
·         Zac Brown Band (Best New Artist)
·         Black Eyed Peas (three Grammys)
·         Jay-Z (Best Rap Solo Performance)
